2025: I don't post as much on social media as I used to, but when I do, these days it is usually on Bluesky as @verumsolum.bsky.social. Actual updates to my bio will follow one of these years… maybe. Previous DW username: outofwater (changed to current username 2025-02-04).
2022: I'm also on Mastodon as @verumsolum@mstdn.ca.
2018: Much of what follows is now outdated, but I find it uncomfortable to write and update my own bio, so it will have to do for now…

Still finding myself after thirty-, make that now forty-mumble years. Still learning to break out of fear and anxiety. Still trying to believe in myself.
On LiveJournal, helenangel once dubbed me Patron Saint of Frazzled Choir Directors, Organs..., and Dazzling Self-Awareness. Self-awareness can be a blessing and a curse.
Trying to sort some things out in an environment where I can share easily, without sharing to the entire world, and where I can hear feedback. Trying to keep as much as I can public (for the sake of those who are accessing outofwater_dw on LiveJournal, where I have been since 2002), but I suspect restricted posts will become common. (It's hard to write openly about things when I fear other participants may find my words.)
Note: While I have listed my LJ below, I no longer post to it, because I have not agreed to a TOS update from its no-longer-new Russian owners, so I am unable to give anybody access to locked posts that did not have it when I stopped using LJ.
